Fullerton East Garden

March was a terribly hot month. The unbearable heat has swayed our love for Burkill Hall. We shortlisted a few restaurants which could offer garden wedding.

1) La Villa was one of the top choices. Unfortunately, due to land repossession by SLA for new downtown line, its lease ends in Oct 13.

2) Rider's Cafe and Marmalade Pantry at the Stables but they're both too small. There's an outdoor lawn area at Marmalade Pantry which is big enough for solemnization.

3) We also went to One Rochester to check out the restaurants. I loved Graza for the chic setting and that was where we spent my birthday together. Graze has changed its interior setting since then.

And here's our final decision...

During one of our meetings with Sharon and Grace from Fullerton, Grace suggested East Garden when she heard that we were looking for a restaurant for solemnization. It was night time when we viewed East Garden but we definitely liked the white tent-age and coolers (not-as-hot garden wedding!) It would be so much more convenient for us. Save the hassle of running from place to place.

We scheduled another afternoon to view the place. East Garden is actually behind a bus next to the main road. One of our concerns is the noise from the vehicles travelling on the main road.

I always wanted an outdoor photobooth.
The bus stop is right outside.

Grace customised a package for East Garden which includes 2-hour usage of the venue, free flow of soft drinks, 2 plasma tv (projector can't be used for outdoor), sound system, solemnisation table and staffs to put up our DIY deco. Having heard how horrendous hotels could charge for the usage of venue for solemnisation, we were glad that the price quoted for East Garden was reasonable.
